Once there was a fern.
And she loved the boy (or so we're told).
And because the boy understood the consequences of using a fern for his own, personal gain (which he learned from reading a children's book), the boy found a nearby tree. He peeled back the bark, and whittled a small portion of the tree into two small rectangles. He then perforated the outsides of the rectangles (so they looked like they were once attached), stamped them with ink, and drew a barcode that Ticketmaster would recognize.
The boy showed the fern what he had made and hoped the fern welcomed it as a break from the boy playing pre-recorded music for the fern.
